Being back in Miami and my ol' stompin' grounds in Gainesville has been wonderful and relaxing — seeing friends and family, and sharing my adventures. It's difficult to put in a nutshell the totality of my Europe experience. How was it? Awesome. What was the weirdest thing that happened? I'm pretty sure there was a ghost in my hotel room in Chamonix. What was your favorite meal? Wild boar ragu with fresh pasta in Tuscany. But really any meal in Italy. Hands down. What was your favorite place? I can't pick a favorite.

What's next? Well, I'm not done yet. The funny thing about wanderlust is that as you check places off of your list, it only grows longer (South Africa! South America! New Zealand!) and you only get more restless. It's such a great big world out there with so much to see, and life is short, and we are lucky to be alive!

But before I grab my passport and backpack again, this time I'm reaching for my car keys and a proper suitcase. I've always wanted to do a cross-country road trip — seeing national parks, visiting friends, exploring new cities. I finally have the time to do it, so now is as good a time as any, right? What if I never get the chance again?

So in the next few weeks I'll be making my way from Atlanta north to Cincinnati and then all the way west via St. Louis and Denver to Portland. I'll drive the Pacific Coast Highway south through the Bay Area to San Diego and then back east through Phoenix, Dallas, and the Gulf Coast before I make it back home.

I'm open to suggestions! Any cool places along the way I must see? Anything interesting that's worth a stop? Let me know! And if I'm coming to a city near you — please reach out! Let's grab a drink!
